Why US Treasurys Are Trading At A Premium

Buying U.S. Treasury bonds is mostly a money losing endeavor, but that doesn't seem to matter to the big money center banks or to the world's Central Bank presidents. Investors surely aren't buying them for the yield. They're buying them for the capital gains on the bond price, and to protect their own currencies.
