U.S. Leveraged Loan Volume Slides To $7.4 Billion As Fund Inflows Ease

Leveraged loan issuance in the U.S. dipped to $8.5 billion over the past week, down from the roughly $13.5 billion in each of the previous two weeks. It is the lowest weekly total since the $7.4 billion recorded in mid-January. With the recent activity, year-to-date leveraged loan volume totals $155 billion, compared to $188 billion seen during this period in 2013, according to S&P Capital IQ/LCD.
