There’s a lot of talk today about the high valuation of the S&P 500, and by extension, the value of other US equities. This is an important consideration for low-cost trackers of the S&P 500. However, these metrics examine at stock markets in a vacuum. Every trade has two sides. In order to sell something you must buy some other asset. Therefore, all valuation is relative, not absolute. |
