The debt ceiling drama continued through Monday?s trading session, with Democrat leaders Harry Reid and Chuck Schumer giving a press conference to announce their bill which includes $2.7 trillion in cuts. There was obviously time to bash on Republicans, and particularly on Speaker of the House John Boehner, with Reid telling the American people that if Republicans continue to reject any deal, they are purposefully looking to default. Boehner is set to speak after the bell on Monday. |
