Sears Shares Crushed On Eddie Lampert's One Year Anniversary As CEO

Eddie Lampert’s first year as CEO of Sears has not gone well. Shares of Sears opened 15% lower in Friday morning trading and were changing hands for $35.95, their lowest level in two years, after the company released an earnings update that revealed the company had experienced weak sales during the key holiday shopping season and lost money in the quarter.
