Roubini On 4 Major U.S. Risks

This week, Steve Forbes sits down with Nouriel Roubini, the renowned economist colloquially known as Dr. Doom, in the weekly Intelligent Investing With Steve Forbes interview. Roubini, best known for presciently anticipating the crisis of 2007 and 2008, predicts slightly slower than consensus growth in the coming year -- foreseeing a growth rate of 2.7% rather than the consensus 3.2%. Although the numbers are fairly similar, Roubini isn?t jumping for joy about that type of recovery. ?Even if it turned out to be 3.2%,? he told Forbes, ?3.2% is barely above potential.  Usually after a recession, the economy, for a few years, grows 4%, 5%, 6%.?
