With the 2012 election now in the books, the people have once again spoken. Unfortunately, we're asked for more gridlock; U.S. voters collectively cast their ballots for a Democratic president, Republican representative, Democratic senator, and Republican governor. That sets the stage for a dramatic few months of bargaining, finger pointing, and posturing over a fiscal cliff that has already spooked investors and cast a cloud of uncertainty over global stock and bond markets.
