Watching the various parties involved in the bidding now for Clearwire, rest assured that finally there is a clear focus on the value of the assets that a huge swath of U.S. 2.5 Ghz spectrum represents. Last year when I was first writing about this, not a soul was paying any attention. Had Sprint and Softbank not been so piggish in trying to steal value from the Clearwire shareholders, they would already have owned Clearwire at a price less than their present $5 bid. It is my guess that $5 is not the final price.
