U.S. leveraged loan issuance totaled $7.1 billion over the past week, a drop-off from the $16.7 billion recorded last week, according to S&P Capital IQ/LCD. The week's activity brings 2013 leveraged loan volume to $62.2 billion, down from the $70.2 billion seen at this time last year (in 2013, of course, U.S. issuance hit a record $605 billion). |
