They further agreed that the near-term outlook, if it were to change, would change for the worse. As for the medium-term outlook, the view around the table kept to the script economists hold dear – everything offsets thereby allowing above trend growth to resume and further tighten labor markets and pull up prices such that inflation is running at 2% by 2018. |
