Bloomberg News recently created a stir by reporting that the AAA corporate bond yield had fallen below the AA yield. According to the article, this unusual occurrence demonstrated that investors were so fearful of higher interest rates that they had altered their traditional valuation criteria. A closer look at the data, however, shows nothing extraordinary going on. |
