Much has been said of the Federal Reserve?s ultra-loose monetary policies diluting the U.S. dollar, of a slow economy eroding the value of the greenback, and of the U.S. possibly losing is status as reserve currency holder given raging deficits and out-f-control budgets. And while the dollar has pretty much fallen over the past decade, a fundamental change may be at hand, as cross-border flows point to a strengthening of the U.S. dollar in the medium-term, according to Nomura?s currency research team.
