Viacom is eyeing its first bond offering in nearly two years to bolster liquidity, after the company’s “comprehensive review” of its capital structure and operating budget—following a high-profile boardroom shakeup—led it to halve its quarterly dividend today. The company also said it had ended the search for a minority investor in Paramount Pictures, for now damming a potential stream of proceeds to bring down its elevated leverage. |
