Gold reversed most of its gains by midday in New York, trading at $1,503-per-ounce after having hit a new all-time high of $1,518.32 earlier in the session. Silver had also surged earlier in the session, hitting a 31-year high of $49.82 an ounce before retracting back to $46.81. |
