Fed Stress Test Scorecard: What The Big Banks Are Doing Now

The results are in from the Federal Reserve's 2012 Comprehensive Capital Analysis and Review (CCAR) and 15 of the 19 banks required to submit to the exam passed the stress test that included an adverse scenario of 13% unemployment, a 50% drop in equity markets and a 21% decline in housing prices. Most have announced the results of the stress test and many are already out with details on returning capital to shareholders -- or the U.S. government in one instance.
