With few people watching, DuPont is changing its stripes. It is moving vigorously away from being a cyclical industrial company and toward its goal of using science to help feed the world's burgeoning population. The stock, a member of the Dow Industrials since 1935, is up 40% over the last year vs a gain of only 16% for the Dow itself. Even after this gain the yield is still 2.7%. |
