Esprit Shares Tumble Further After Chairman, CEO Quit

The quarterdeck of Esprit appears to be cursed. Stocks plunged for the second day after both its CEO and chairman abandoned ship. Shares on Thursday fell 12.4% after plunging 22% the previous day, the most in 15 years, upon news that CEO Ronald van der Vis was leaving the company. Stocks were suspended Wednesday but resumed the next morning.
