Sumner Redstone, the 90 year old chairman of Viacom, the entertainment and media empire that has made him one of the richest men in America, called me last night to report that the 47 year old cancer specialist that Michael Milken sent him to care for his prostate cancer, "performed a miracle recovery." Before he met David Agus, the Los Angeles based USC professor of medicine and engineering, head of the USC Westside Cancer Center, Redstone, had been diagnosed in his native-born Boston as having only "three months to live."
