Consumer Confidence Drops To Lowest Level Since January As The Economy Stagnates

In a difficult economic environment, with risk emanating from both Europe and the U.S., the Conference Board’s measure of consumer confidence fell for a fourth consecutive month in June.  Standing at 62, the measure came in below expectations, initially throwing off stocks, despite a later rebound.
