China's crude oil production has fallen nearly 10% in August, from the same period a year ago, to six-year lows, as low oil prices hamper domestic production. Increased foreign oil dependency, the same nightmare that the U.S. struggled with for 40 years, will now plague Beijing. Perhaps China should turn to U.S. shale oil imports as part of its solution. |
