(1888PressRelease) BOSTON - Fans of Susie Rich have a new book to relish: Don't Underestimate Any Natural Elements: Extreme Weather. Be Prepared. The new comic book introduces readers to Duane, a green-caped superhero who rescues people from disasters. But that's not all. Duane's other mission is to educate and empower young readers with valuable knowledge about weather preparedness.

In the book, as Duane battles extreme weather events, he shows readers how to prepare for these occurrences and what to do in case of emergencies. Beyond his superpowers, he aims to save lives with useful information on exit plans, evacuation zones, emergency supplies and other response strategies to tackle the challenges of extreme weather events, from tornadoes to hurricanes.

"With our increasingly dynamic weather patterns, preparedness is key and kids are never too young to learn how to protect themselves, their loved ones and their possessions in the event of a serious weather event," said Rich. "Duane is the perfect superhero - strong, courageous and supportive - to spread the message about what people need to do to stay safe and avoid tragic consequences. I hope fans love learning from him as much as I enjoyed creating him."
