Celebrities Brave Snow Storm to Attend Howlin Comedy Club's Maltings Show

Linda Lusardi and Sam Kane Trapped in Snow for 7 Hours Following Highly Praised Maltings Show in St Albans.

(1888PressRelease) Despite appalling weather conditions Linda Lusardi and husband Sam Kane braved blizzard conditions and sub-zero temperatures in order to attend the increasingly popular Malting's Show at the Howlin Comedy Club in St Albans. The comedy night - which has become a favourite with both the public and celebrities alike - featured an array of talent including Simon Clayton, Eddy Brimson, Dave Thompson, Rich Morton and the couple's friend, comedian Kev Orkian.

The pair left the night and began the drive home, only to become stuck on the M25 due to the blizzard conditions which had developed throughout the evening. Lusardi had tempted fate earlier in the day when she tweeted "The Snow has reached Herts. Hope we don't get stuck watching @TheKevOrkian. In St Albans tonight."

With traffic at a stand still the pair spent the night in the car, with Linda tweeting of their experience for the full 7 hours they were trapped."The traffic was nose to tail and people kept getting out and building snowmen and having snowball fights."

Lusardi updated concerned fans "We went to a comedy club where our mate @TheKevOrkian. Was appearing. He was brilliant. He is about a mile behind us." Orkian raised his profile through the hit ITV1 show "Britain's got Talent" with his signature skipping Elton John CD routine.

Despite the trying conditions Lusardi and Kane remained upbeat, and the married couple took the opportunity to spend some quality time together. Linda recently commented of the evening "I got to know my husband all over again" "we just stayed warm tweeting all the time- and I even spoke to Eamon Holmes when he got up. I was just pleased I didn't swear"
Linda tweeted about the treacherous conditions- "It was terrible. But at least the show was great and well worth seeing."

There's no confirmation yet as to whether Linda and Sam will be in attendance for this months Maltings Show at the Howlin Comedy Club on March the 3rd, but with another strong line-up announced the event is set to be even better than the last.

The MC for the evening - Mickey Hutton of BBC and Sun fame- will present acts including Raymond & Mr Timkins Revue, Alex Lowe as his "endearing, enduring creation" "Barry from Watford" and the Award winning writer and comedian Mark Maier, this group of comedians is sure to leave audiences in stitches!
