Dividends paid out by listed companies on the stockmarket in Britain verged on hitting the £1 billion (c.$1.3 billion) mark in 2018 - hitting a record high - according to new analysis. Yields on stocks were at their highest level since 2009, and are forecast to increase further this year. |
