Surrounded by economists, Fed Chairman Ben Bernanke gave an interesting speech on Monday and then answered a series of questions in which he defended QE3, said his policies are consistent with a strong U.S. dollar, and noted that there’s nothing wrong with the labor force, rather it’s the weak economy that’s keeping the unemployment rate high. |
